We built this because the binder never saves you.

Who we are

Propane Safety Pro keeps your training and compliance records in one place — current, dated, and one click from an auditor's hand.

Propane Safety Pro is a propane company's safety department, in software.

We are the safety side of TankSpotter, built and run out of Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Same team. Same phone.

We do not sell to homeowners. We sell to the people who run the trucks.

Who built it

Bill Stomp

Bill Stomp started running one propane location and eventually ran 87 branch offices across 12 states over a 25-year career, combat veteran. He has since helped 200+ fuel companies.

He did not consult on propane. He ran it. He has signed the payroll, worked the winter, and stood in the room when a state inspector asked for paper nobody could find.

That is the whole reason this exists.

What we do

Most operators come to us for two things. There are more, and they are all on the services page.

Training and inspection records kept audit-ready

We keep the records.

  • Every training record tracked, with renewal alerts
  • Plant, aboveground, and underground inspection records
  • Audit-ready export in one click
  • Works offline in the field, syncs when back in range
  • New-hire training built in, start to finish
Written safety manuals built for your operation

We write the manuals.

  • Policies and Procedures manual, built for your operation
  • DOT Hazmat security plan under 49 CFR 172.800
  • A written intake so nothing gets left out
Annual Duty to Warn safety notice mailing

We handle your Duty to Warn mailing.

  • The annual safety notice goes out to your customers, on schedule
  • Every mailing documented, so you can show it was sent

You can hire us for one line or all of them. Most operators start with whichever one is on fire.

Why the timing matters

Your training paperwork is moving under your feet right now.

PERC is retiring CETP. The replacement is PEP, and it works differently: no certification exam, module-by-module testing, and completions land on an online transcript instead of a certificate in a folder. Archiving started in 2025.

So for a while, your crew holds two kinds of proof. Some of your crew have old CETP certificates. New hires will have PEP transcripts. Where your state licenses propane work, the requirement doesn’t pause because the credential changed.

A spreadsheet does not know the difference. We do.

If your crew is holding both kinds of proof right now, that’s the fifteen minutes worth spending.

Who stands behind us

Propane Safety Pro is recommended by Aegis, eMaxx Assurance Group, and Nationwide.

Three independent propane-safety consultants — Eric Leskinen, Mike DiGiorgio, and Mike Terry — endorse it.

Carriers read your file before they write your policy.

How we work

We do not run you through a call center. You get the same small team every time.

Three trucks or thirty, the file has to hold up the same way.

You send us what you have — the binder, the spreadsheet, the pile. We tell you what we see missing, so you find the gaps before an inspector does. Then we build the record so it stays built.

No long ramp, and no consultant vocabulary. Plain paper an auditor can read.

Show us your worst binder.

Fifteen minutes. We run it against your own records and show you what an audit-ready export looks like. If it is not a fit, we will say so.

Book a 15-minute screen share — bring your own records, no prep.

Or call 610-228-0887 and ask for Bill.
