How Should Dispatch Match the Day's Work to Propane Safety App Records?

Compare the day's planned jobs with the records you actually got, and give every gap an owner. Keep a missing record, a rescheduled visit and an open finding apart, so tomorrow's dispatcher knows what is left.

Start with what was assigned

The Propane Safety App lists a scheduling system. In your trial, have dispatch pick the day's sample jobs and say where a schedule change would show up. Product source

Service work orders are listed too. Use a few sample orders to decide which record you expect for each job. Follow the real assignment. Not every visit makes the same paperwork. Product source

Add one rescheduled job. Dispatch should be able to tell that apart from a job that was done but has no record to review.

Compare what came in

The product describes field-work summaries for reports. Have the office pull the sample work and check it against the assignment list. Ask the provider what the reports contain. This page does not promise automatic matching. Product source

The app also lists unsafe-condition reporting. Keep any open sample finding on your follow-up list even after the visit ends. For anything urgent, use your immediate-response procedure. Don't wait for the daily review. Product source

Give each gap a plain label: awaiting a record, awaiting review, rescheduled, or more action needed. Those are suggested office labels, not names used in the app.

Leave a handover people can use

For each open item, write the job reference, what is missing, who owns it and the next step. Ask a second dispatcher to read the list with no help from the person who wrote it.

If they can't tell whether to call the worker, review a record or book another visit, rewrite the note. Keep it short enough to use daily and clear enough to survive a shift change.

Run this before you buy. You want one checked day of sample work and a clear list of exceptions.

Request a demo that follows a sample dispatch day through to the office review.
