How Can a Replacement Propane Technician Review a Site's Past Work?

Give the replacement the site, the earlier records and today's job. Have them tell apart what the last worker documented from what still needs checking under your procedures.

Start at the right location

The Propane Safety App describes Customer 360 as an onsite look at prior work at a location. In your trial, have a technician who did not make the sample record find that location's history. Product source

Use a sample with enough detail that it can't be guessed. Ask which location they picked and why. The office settles any doubt about the address or equipment before the job goes ahead.

The product describes a date and signature on field records. Have the replacement find when the earlier visit was made and whose signature is on it. Then keep that visit separate from today's job. Product source

Read the history, then the job

Photo documentation is a listed module. Ask what the sample photos show and what they can't prove on their own. Old photos are history. Today's work follows your procedures. Product source

Service work orders are listed too. Put the sample job next to the older record and ask the technician to say what job they have actually been given. Product source

Ask the provider how records are found and tied together. Don't assume every old record links to a new work order.

Have them explain it back

Finish with three questions. Which visit does this history describe? What is today's job? Who answers an open question?

Use the answers to fix your handover instructions. File any new record under the worker and visit that made it. Don't rewrite the earlier account. The goal is a replacement who understands the file without the first technician's memory.

Request a Customer 360 demo with a sample handover between two technicians.
