CETP / PEP training — what every propane employee needs

PERC is retiring CETP. The replacement is PEP, the PERC Education Program — no certification exam, module-by-module testing, completions on an online transcript instead of a paper certificate.

CETP is the Certified Employee Training Program. PERC built it; NPGA has run it since 2012.

Who needs it: anyone who delivers or transports LP-gas, moves propane in or out of tanks and cylinders, or installs and services tanks.

There is no single federal renewal clock. Many companies retrain every year or two — your company, your insurer, and your state set the real schedule.

Delivery Drivers

Entry Level Driver Training

Required for all employees operating commercial vehicles. Training is also available for employees applying to upgrade or modify their commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Controlled Substance Drug & Alcohol Testing

Full-time, part-time, intermittent and backup CDL drivers in safety-sensitive functions are all subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing. We keep the documentation trail that shows your program is running the way you say it is.
